Summer in Mesa

Scott, Deb, Sally and Bryan spent 3 fun days at the house from August 8 - 11.  We didn't plan anything, just wanted to go down for a few days.  As you can see, here we are toasting the misters Gregg put up.  With lots of thanks to Gregg, we were able to relax while we were down there...he got the pool figured out, the hot tub working, the misters up and the bar stocked...well, it was stocked!

Scott and I did get some golf in.  The Las Sendas Golf Course right in our development is a great course with some very beautiful views.  Here is a picture of Scott on a par 3 that heads right toward one of the mountains.

Opening Weekend

Welcome to 7943 East Sugarloaf Circle!

We all went to the new house in late June.  Gregg and Scott drove a Penske rental truck down full of furniture and fixtures...it was a 23 hour drive and they drove it straight through.  Sally, Deb, Carla and Bryan flew down and landed around 7am.  After Scott and Gregg caught a few hours of sleep, we went to work unloading the truck, moving furniture, setting up beds and generally getting to know the new place.  We are all very happy how it turned out.  Here are some pics of the first trip...

We put together 8 pool chairs, 8 fire pit chairs, 6 patio chairs, 4 bar stools and a TV stand.  Thank goodness we had a farmer there!

And we don't want to give you the impression the ladies didn't do anything by showing a picture of them lounging...they were just as busy as the guys.

It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun...can't wait to go back!
